More and more frequently we are asked to use video instead of or in conjunction with traditional lamping. Below are some of the best. Slipstream at Eaton Centre, Toronto Slipstream, a $2.5-million LED light installation, located in Toronto Eaton Centre's iconic galleria, runs video through the 135-metre long installation of 70 prisms suspended delicately in tension along the axis of the galleria. Designed by United Visual Artists for the Cadillac Fairview Corporation, manufactured and installed by Lumid. Slipstream was unveiled to the public on October 1, 2011 as part of Toronto's annual all-night exploration and celebration of contemporary art, Scotiabank Nuit Blanche. Slipstream joins the landmark Michael Snow Canada Geese at Toronto Eaton Centre, adding to the collection of important works of art featured throughout Cadillac Fairview properties.

Designed by Gabriel MacKinnon, the central element for the main courtyard features two of the largest and most dramatic crystal chandeliers in Western Canada, each with over 250 crystal icicle assemblies, and 1000-plus independently addressable LEDs allowing the designers to program numerous visual effects. These chandeliers truly sparkle!

And in 2006 Dominique Alary used a nano-tech coating to increase the luminosity and clarity on the second side of these video pendants. Using a projector for lamping, these pendants run video so an installation can have hourly events programmed into the evening or show videos continously during operation.
Installed at Cherry Night Club at Red Rock in Vegas, designed by Josh Held at Rockwell Group.
